Stephen B. Tulla

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Steve Tulla of Ovid, on Dec. 30, 2019, at the age of 65.

He was born on March 27 1954, in Ithaca, and had graduated from South Seneca High School. Steve proudly served in the U S. Air Force from 1976 to 1980, and loved anything related to planes and flying. He was an excellent cook and baker and occasionally he surprised his friends and family with delicious dishes. Steve was also an expert woodworker and made dozens of beautiful woodcrafts called intarsia. He spent countless hours hanging out and talking about his planned projects with his good friends Mike and Becky Potts. His creativity and sense of humor will be missed by those who knew him.

He is survived by sisters Jude (Cheryl) Tulla of Longlac, Ontario, Canada, and Connie Goldsmith of Interlaken. Survivors also include nieces Heather Faiella of Afton and Sara Goldsmith of Ithaca and nephew Christopher Brandli of Ithaca. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Doris Tulla, of Interlaken.

There are no services. Interment will be held privately at the Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Romulus, New York.
