T. Iseley Edmund

Edmund T. ‶Ed″ Iseley, age 69, of 6945 East Lake Road, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 28, 2017.

The family will receive friends at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 South Main Street, Ovid, from 1:00 to 3:00pm on Sunday, December 31, 2017. A Memorial Service will then follow at 3:00pm at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Scott Gallatin of Calvary Chapel of the Finger Lakes in Farmington. Ed was born on June 16, 1948 in Bayside, Long Island, a son of the late John and Margaret (Doughterty) Iseley. Upon completion of nursing school, Ed worked on Long Island until moving to Willard in 1987. Ed❜s caring nature led to a rewarding career as a nursing administrator at Dick Van Dyke Addiction Treatment Center until his retirement in 2003. His steadfast Christian faith and devotion led him through many of life❜s hardest tests. Even In failing health and frailty, he remained strong in his passions; love for his family, love of God and goodness towards mankind. His spirit will live long through his family and the many friends he touched throughout his lifetime.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; his children, E.D. (Mary) Iseley of Webster, NY and Linnet (Howard) McLaughlin of Ovid and his grandchildren, Nora Iseley and Zoe and Ethan McLaughlin; and a brother, John Iseley of Ovid, in addition to a large extended family. Ed was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly in 1999 and by his sister, Gail Jacobs in 2008.
