V. Parish Glenn

Glenn V. Parish, age 84, of Ovid passed away unexpectedly at Strong Memorial Hospital on Friday, September 29, 2017.

The family will be present to receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 So. Main Street, Ovid. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 6:00pm at the funeral home. The family asks those that would like to make a contribution in Glenn❜s memory to kindly consider the American Heart Association.

Glenn was born at home in Ovid on April 16, 1933, a son of the late Leland and Lena Parish. He worked for many years as a truck driver at the Seneca Army Depot. Glenn enjoyed going to yard sales and walking the streets of Ovid every day.

Glenn is survived by two sons, Ron and John Parish; son in law, Ken Hohwald; four grandchildren, Steven (Lauren) Parish, Deanna Church, Christina (David) Scott, and Paula (Todd) North; ten great grandchildren, Benjamin, Jack, James, William, Alex, Madison, Rylee, Hunter, Nicole, and Arianna; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Hohwald in 2016; and three brothers.
