Vaughn T. Davis

Vaughn T. Davis, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.

In keeping with Vaughn’s wishes there will be no services.

Vaughn was born in Hornell, NY on January 14, 1927, the son of the late George and Beatrice (Marriott) Davis. He proudly served his country with the US Navy during World War II. He worked as a Union Painter later on in life and proudly held the title of Class 3 World Champion Horseshoe Player.

Vaughn is survived by his daughter, Diana (Jim) Bowers Moran and her children and grand-children; daughter-in-law, Mary Davis and her children and grand-children; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters; son George Davis in 2020 and grandson Thomas Davis in 1999.
