Virginia was born on February 21, 1924, a daughter of the late Floyd and Etta (Newman) Granger. She worked for Willard Psychiatric Center as an attendant and therapy aide for many years. Virginia had been a member of the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries. One of many things that Ginny will be remembered for is all of the knitting and crocheting that she did for her children and grandchildren; everyone has afghans that she❜s made along with sweaters, scarves and a variety of things. Even as a resident in the nursing home, she passed her skills along to the young nurses that wanted to learn how to knit and crochet. Additionally, she was a huge Syracuse basketball fan and enjoyed watching the games on tv.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Victor Skozewski; five sons, Eldon (Kathy) Larsen, Allen (Karen) Larsen, Dale (Teri) Larsen, Russell (Lynn) Larsen, and Chris (Karen) Larsen; three daughters, Linda (Rick) Van Nostrand, Cynthia (James) Moran, and Carolyn (Thomas) Larsen-Wieber; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Leon Larsen; her five brothers, William, Robert, Howard, Gilbert, and Aldon Granger; and a sister, Inez Mann.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt ‶Thank you″ to the staff and nurses at Geneva Living Center North for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Ginny.
