W. Bona Mark

Mark W. Bona, age 40, of Palmyra passed away at Rochester General Hospital on Wednesday, October 29, 2014.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, November 3, 2014 at the Covert Funeral Home, 7199 So. Main Street, Ovid. Mark was born on April 24, 1974 in Gloversville, NY. He resided in New York for many years before moving to Florida, returning to central New York recently. Mark enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and caring for his beloved dogs.

Mark is survived by his two children, Joshua W. Bona of Seminole, FL and Casandra P. Bona of Newfield; a granddaughter, Isabella Bona of Seminole, FL; mother, Doris Garrison of Stafford, VA; four siblings, Rex A. Garrison of Ovid, Gary R. Garrison of France; Todd H.E. Garrison of Ovid, and Michelle R. Berg of Stafford, VA; uncle, Louis Brinkerhoff; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. His wife, Amy Bona of Clearwater, FL passed away October 30, 2014. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Larry Raes; and a niece, Malina Salgado.
