Cynthia A. Moran, age 64, of Yale Station Road, died at Strong Memorial Hospital on Monday, November 15, 2021, following several recent hospitalizations and a prolonged illness.
Services will be held privately for family at this time, and a Celebration of Life will be announced by Covert Funeral Home in the late spring of 2022. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 East River Road, Waterloo, NY 13165, in Cindy’s memory.
Cindy was born in Geneva, on October 24, 1957, a daughter of Leon and Virginia Larsen. She was a graduate of Romulus High School and attended cosmetology school. She was married to Jim Moran on September 10, 1977. Cindy had worked as a teacher’s aide at Skoi-Yase Elementary School in Waterloo for nearly 20 years, before her retirement. A thoughtful and caring individual, Cindy was the emotional glue for her family and always available to her friends.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; her sons, Ryan of Geneva, Brandon (Jackie Pawelczak) of Buffalo and Darren (Anna Weldon) of Rochester; and her granddaughter, Madison Moran; her brothers, Edlon (Kathy), Allen (Karen), Dale (Teri), Russell (Lynn) Chris (Karen) Larsen; her sisters, Linda (Rick) Van Nostrand and Carolyn (Thomas) Wieber; the extended Moran family, and a host of nieces and nephews.
