Robert Lenwood Winder

Robert Lenwood Winder, age 85, of Interlaken passed away at Cayuga Medical Center on Friday, November 8, 2024.

Prayers of committal will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Lake View Cemetery in Interlaken.

He was born in Eagles Mere, Pennsylvania on December 26, 1938, a son of the late Lenwood Winder and Mary (Edkin) Harvey. Bob worked as a contractor and carpenter in the area throughout his entire life. Bob enjoyed antiquing for LVRR railroad lanterns with his good friend Turk for many years. Also in years past he traveled the Seaway Trail, keeping himself busy after losing his loving wife, Pat way too early. Bob also loved fishing.

Bob is survived by his children, Penny (Harold) Mikkelsen, Gary Winder, Candy Winder, and Kevin (Sue) Winder; daughter in law, Staci Winder; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Sis Everts, Mickey (Delsie) Skinner, and Linda Steinruck; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; step father, Charles Harvey; his wife, Patricia Winder; and son, Mike Winder.
